Challenging apartments

Designed to stimulate the senses and force inhabitants to use balance, physical strength and imagination, the lofts feature uneven floors, oddly positioned power switches and outlets, walls and surfaces painted a dizzying array of colors, a tiny exit to the balcony, a transparent shower room, irregularly shaped curtainless windows, and more.

An interesting idea, keeping people challenged, especially given the obvious trend of ageing populations. As someone points out in the comments, to be challenging over a long period the apartment would have to change over time.

But it’s a big step from people occasionally playing Brain Training to having their every movement at home be a problem. If people who were at home a lot liked to be challenged one can’t help thinking daytime TV would be a little different.
